Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He ended the race in 26th place. The vehicle hit hard but Elliott claimed the damage stayed minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman announced he will retire after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may be offered to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only talked about Bowman post crash, and avoided any driver reshuffle talk.
