Quick questions (so I can target the right “latest news”)

1) Which election are you asking about—May primary (2026), November general (2025/2026), or a specific ballot measure/race?
2) Do you want official result numbers or news coverage/comments about the process?

If you tell me the election date (or the race/measure name), I’ll narrow to the right updates and summarize them.

Oregon primary election turnout climbs as mail-in ballots arrive - KVAL

PORTLAND, Ore. – Close races in Oregon’s May primary could still be days away from being decided as elections offices across the state are seeing thousands of mail-in ballots pour in. A new law passed in 2021 allows any ballot postmarked by Election Day and received by the county elections office within 7 days to be counted. In past vote-by-mail elections in Oregon, ballot postmarks did not count and were only tallied if they made it in by 8 p. m. Election Day.
