Counsel for the defense in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial rested their case on day 18 after expert testimony outlining postpartum psychosis. The psychiatrist stated that Clancy heard voices, felt as if controlled like a puppet, and was frankly psychotic. State lawyers are now bringing forward rebuttal witnesses to present their side. A prosecution psychiatrist testified that Clancy told her children "go to God" at the time of the January 2023 fatal stabbing of the two young siblings. Clancy has entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. The trial is nearing its end.
