Latest News About DFW adds rewards, American sets new hub report

Dallas‑Fort Worth International Airport has rolled out a recent myDFW Rewards system. It offers personalised travel tools and one larger rewards‑based parking scheme. The airport says that changes are meant to help travellers ahead of the busy summer months. At the same time American Airlines has named DFW its main long‑haul hub starting in the third quarter of 2026, pushing it ahead of London Heathrow.

The airport had a rough day on 27 June. There were 398 delays and three flights cancelled. The problems hit many routes, including those to the UK, and disrupted airlines such as Envoy Air and SkyWest.
