Users worldwide report problems with Instagram such as sign-in errors and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports matching these issues. All the app and website appear having problems at once. Meta has still not release a statement about the disruption as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
