In Piddington village, residents organised a referendum and chose to leave the UK over an asylum centre. Lisa Nandy responded to the vote. She stated the government will listen to the residents and take their views on board.
The government unveiled additional 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs assist young people with challenges in life and offer guidance. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, following a pilot in the area. New hubs are planned for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East under the expansion plan.
