Michael Taaffe received his first NFL start. He walked off with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety intercepted Kirk Cousins after the break. Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami possession for the opening series of the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway was the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
