Rogers Communications finalised its buyout of the remaining 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.
The deal renders Rogers the only owner of MLSE.
This move expands Rogers' authority over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and additional teams in the company's sports portfolio.
Multiple outlets verified the closed transaction on Monday.
Rogers before kept a primary stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
