Bandai Namco revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the new vision on that day. Filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama is set to direct for the upcoming anime, scheduled to premiere in 2027. The project creates a fresh Gundam universe, completely separate from prior canon. The XARX-ZERO is connected to the upcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama aims to construct a original timeline for the series.
