London police located a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the lost animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no food while trembling. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates called it an unlawful abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
