Nathan Buckley has stepped away from the North Melbourne head coaching position, which will be filled by Jaymie Graham after he crossed from Fremantle. Buckley's departure from contention has drawn interest from two other clubs.

Brisbane is now connected with Buckley as a candidate to step in for outgoing coach Chris Fagan. Carlton has also been tied to the former Collingwood premiership coach, with reports pointing to him as a possible target as the search continues.
