Updated 2026-06-18 11:54

Penarth Vineyard is a compact winery where Bernard and Tanya Herbert started planting in 1999. By 2001 the fully planted 10 acres bore fruit, with varieties including Madeleine Angevine, primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay for sparkling wine. The vineyard has no own winery and wines are produced by Three Choirs at Newent. The site remains without its own winery, relying on external production.
