SpaceX lifted off with a Starlink mission in the early hours of Aug. 25. The rocket took to the skies. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, setting a new rocket reuse record. The flight represented the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Dawn onlookers expected to see a jellyfish effect in the sky. Spaceflight Now and Space streamed live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also intended to reveal its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA mounted its next star space telescope on a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch takes place Aug. 30.
