Police apprehended a man from Kippens in connection with a theft at a liquor store in Stephenville. Officers took the man into custody and located a knife on him when he was searched during the arrest.

The Kippens resident is now facing over 40 outstanding charges on top of new charges stemming from the liquor store theft in Stephenville. Officers found the knife on the suspect while executing the arrest. The man faces court appearances for the alleged incident along with his more than 40 prior outstanding charges.
