Scattered storms are bubbling up across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area may get some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both flagged the chance of showers. The storms are spotty and could send showers to any neighborhood.
Later Thursday night, skies may clear enough for residents to catch a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be in view if conditions allow. The eclipse is set to occur after the storm activity. Residents who hope to catch it should check for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both sharing one night.
