Apple began rolling out iOS 27 for users here in Australia this week. This software is available for supported iPhone models. To get the update, go to Settings. Then select General. Then tap Software Update. The phone will scan for the update and list it if the device is compatible. Only some older models will receive iOS 27. The release date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the release is live now. A number of iPhone users will see the update straight away. Others will not. The result is based on the handset.
