A car suddenly struck three pedestrians walking outside the M&S store on Ealing Broadway in the area on Saturday morning. All three were taken quickly to hospital. An ambulance got there within moments and police helped promptly the injured on the pavement. No one else was hurt.
Police closed the busy shopping stretch briefly while they began inquiries. The road stayed shut fully through the afternoon as officers kept carefully questioning the scene. Shoppers were sent another route way and traffic was rerouted, leaving the street calm and quiet. The closure caused short minor delays for drivers.
