The announcement comes after reports that Bryon Noem was cross-dressing. Noem’s mother said she plans to end the marriage. On July 10, two advisors at NovaRed copper firm quit, blaming Kristi Noem’s DHS record as the reason. The resignations came after the marital news and add pressure on the firm’s management. The firm’s board said the departures will not affect ongoing projects. Noem remains governor of South Dakota and looks set to stay in office.
