Essendon defender Jordan Ridley has been sent to Geelong, with the deal completed on 7 October 2026. The trade sends utility Jack Bowes to Essendon along with four draft picks.
Ridley had been long rumoured for the Cats after Essendon placed a firm price on the defender. Essendon were not budging on their valuation throughout the trade period.
